This is a fun, free event for children 6 years of age and younger at Draper Historic Park. Thousands of candy canes are scattered throughout the park. Children gather on the East side of the park near the clock tower and are released after the countdown at 4:00 PM. A limited number of specially marked candy canes are hidden and can be redeemed for a holiday prize.

Shortly after the start of the hunt, Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on a firetruck to greet the children and sit for photos in the gazebo.

Specially Marked Candy Cane Rules:

• There are a limited number of specially marked candy canes placed in the park.
• Children who find a specially marked candy cane can redeem it for a prize.
• Adults cannot pick up or redeem these specially marked candy canes.
• Only one prize per child is allowed.
• The child must personally present the ticket to claim the prize and be 6 years of age or younger.

Inclement Weather:  The event will be held in snow, rain, or shine. However, it may be canceled or postponed due to severe weather. Check this webpage for current information or call (801) 576-6584.
