Draper Police Department and Lone Peak Hospital will host a prescription drug disposal event at Lone Peak Hospital in observance of the National Drug Takeback Initiative. Clean out your medicine cabinets and turn in expired or unneeded medication for safe disposal. 

The following items are accepted (mark out or remove labels with any personal information):

• Prescription and over-the-counter pills, capsules, caplets, gel caps, and medical patches
• Inhalers
• Vitamins
• Pet medications
• Liquid medicine in the...

• Needles
• Syringes
• EpiPens
• Other injectables
• Chemotherapy medications
• Illegal drugs
